  • Congratulations to Mrs. Culpepper- Lucille Crysell School Counseling Award Recipient!

     

    Paxon SAS would like to extend heartfelt congratulations to Mrs. Kryatal Culpepper (Paxon IB Coordinator/School Counselor) for being this year's recipient of the Lucille Crysell School Counselor Award. This award recognizes one Duval County Public Schools Counselor who has demonstrated dedication to the school counseling profession and adheres to the highest standards of professionalism.  Mrs. Culpepper epitomizes the attributes celebrated by this award.  Join us in appreciation of her wonderful work for Paxon and Duval Schools.

  • Paxon NCAA Parent Night

     
    Paxon SAS Parent Night is on January 9, 2017 @ 6:00pm. We will discuss NCAA Division I and II Initial Eligibility Requirements.

  • Magnet Tour Schedule

    • All tours begin promptly at 8:30 AM.
    • Remember, you do not need to schedule an appointment for the Paxon SAS Tours.
    • Parent/Guardian MUST bring the Magnet application to the tour for a signature.
    • Please keep in mind that successful completion of Algebra 1 is a prerequisite.

Students who attend a middle school that is not a part of Duval County Public Schools must bring proof of successful completion or current enrollment in Algebra 1 with current grades to receive a signature.

  • Need Academic Assistance? Try BrainFuse HelpNow

     
    BrainFuse HelpNow! is a free service provided to Jacksonville Public Library cardholders. This resource provides academic assistance with live homework help from 2-11pm EST 7 days a week. There is a 24/7 question center, writing assistance, skill building, and test preps. Test help is available in all subjects including AP.
     
    There are also spaces for virtual study groups and collaboration.
     
    All Duval County Public School students have free student public library cards through a collaboration with the the Jacksonville Public Library. Students are able to utilize their student numbers to access this resource and many other Jacksonville Public Library resources.
     
    Please take advantage of this wonderful resource.

    There are a couple of ways parents, students, and faculty can share photos with the yearbook team. Via Instagram, with hashtag #PaxMarksTheSpot and by going to www.hjeshare.com and typing in "Paxon" for the school code.
