appointment. In order to be featured in the Senior section of next year's yearbook,
you must have your Senior Picture scheduled by August 11, and have your picture
taken by August 31, 2015. Anyone who has not taken their pictures by this time will be in

Alene Murrell, author and 1937 Stanton graduate, will speak in the auditorium at Stanton College Preparatory School on March 26, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. She will speak about her experiences at Stanton, growing up in Jacksonville, living for three years with Zora Neale Hurston, and living through the depression and World War II. Ms. Murrell has published Zora Neale Hurston: In and Around Jacksonville, Florida in the 1920’s, 1930’s and 1940’s. She was a featured presenter at the 20th Zora Neale Hurston Festival of the Arts. She was awarded a Jacksonville Proclamation in 2013, and a book award from the Jacksonville Historical Commission in 2014.
