Parents & Caregivers, We ask that you spend 10 minutes to share your experience with your child's school and our district. Your valuable feedback will help us identify areas of strength and improvement. The survey will be open until Friday, May 19th. Thank you for your time, feedback, and ongoing support of public education. Please click here to complete the survey.
The month of April is designated as Autism Awareness Month. In an effort to support all students with disabilities we want to recognize a need for awareness, support, and acceptance. The month ends with the Zoo HEAL Walk. Tickets for the event are $15 per person ages 13 and up and FREE for kids 12 and under. The ticket purchase allows you to join the HEAL Walk and enjoy the entire day at the Jacksonville Zoo. Our team fundraising goal is $500 and the walk will be held on April 30th. It is a wonderful way to spend the day at the Jacksonville Zoo for a reduced admission price while supporting a noble cause! Click here for more information!
Patrols started their first fundraiser of the year. We are selling Dreamette gift cards. This is a really great opportunity for patrols to earn money towards the Washington D.C. trip. The cost of the gift cards are $10 and the value is $10. Dreamette will give us 50% profit so for every gift card we sell for $10 we get $5 back. Please let Ms. Corrie or Mrs. Spence know if you would like to purchase any. We appreciate your support! Click here for more information.
The Band is Back! Our school has launched a Chorus and Percussion Ensemble for the 2016-2017 school year. We are excited to be able to provide this type of Arts enrichment to our 4th and 5th grade students. In order to expand this program and continue to create musical opportunities we are looking for gently used instruments (Violins, Ukuleles, Drums, Flutes, Trumpets, etc.). If you can donate one of these items we would truly appreciate it! Please drop off your donation in the main office! Click here for more information.
We at Duval County Public Schools want to see every student inspired and prepared for success in college or a career, and life.
