The Green Champions program at Arlington Heights is a collaboration between teachers, staff, and students to promote recycling, conservation, and sustainability. The goal of the Green Champions program is to help students and teachers learn to be better stewards of Earth's resources and live their lives in sustainable ways. We work towards these goals by encouraging children to reduce, reuse, recycle at school, to turn off lights and not waste water, and to pay attention to how their actions affect the environment. Throughout the year, activities and events are spotlighted on our Green Champions blog. It is the hope that one day our blog will truly be an interactive space for teachers and students throughout the school.
