  • 2015 National Blue Ribbon School Award Recognition
The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program recognizes public and private elementary, middle, and high schools based on their overall academic excellence or their progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups. Every year the U. S. Department of Education seeks out and celebrates great American schools, schools demonstrating that all students can achieve to high levels. Secretary Duncan of the USDOE officially announced on 9/29/15 that Jacksonville Beach Elementary School is a recipient of one of the coveted 2015 National Blue Ribbon Awards. JBE is 1 out of 335 schools nationwide to receive this honor, which is a true reflection of the hard work and dedication of the entire school community of teachers, students, and parents! Welcome to Jacksonville Beach Elementary

At Jacksonville Beach Elementary School, we are committed to meeting the needs of all students by providing an enriching and challenging education, teaching children to seek. explore, discover, and develop their minds to the fullest potential, and teaching them the skills needed to be responsible citizens and lifelong learners.
Our school was awarded the National Blue Ribbon School Award in 2004 and 2015 and has earned Florida’s A+ School Recognition Award for eight consecutive years. Jacksonville Beach Elementary is ranked first among all Duval County Public Elementary Schools, and sixth of all schools in the state. The extended learning opportunities provided at Jacksonville Beach ensure a solid foundation and an outstanding rate of success in advanced placement classes in middle and high school.
The Blue Ribbon Celebration, held on 12/15/15, was a tremendous success! A special thanks goes out to the PTA President and Business Partner/Hospitality Committee for providing wonderful treats for all of our honored community guests!!! The video below was a special performance that was put on by the Kindergarten students.
