  • bbb-seniors-2014 Jan 29, 2014 - In light of our success over the past the three years (67W-12L varsity, 54W-8L JV) and our 3 consecutive Gateway Conference championships, our student/athletes and coaches will be featured tonight on Action News 12 at 6:00.  There will be live interviews and an expose on our season so far this year.

  • salute Courtyard Rededication Ceremony November 8, 2013.  The Junior Class (Class of 2015) cleaned up and rededicated the courtyard to veterans and current military members. More info

  • nolan trip History of the Holocaust tour to Europe in June, 2015.  The trip, sponsored by Mr. Nolan, is open to any Sandalwood student and alumni.  The trip is organized through EF Educational Tours with a tentative departure date on June 10, 2015.  Students will visit Berlin, Warsaw, Krakow, Prague, Munich, and Salzburg, with side trips to Auschwitz-Birkenau, Dachau and Hitler's Eagles' Nest in Berchtesgaden.  For more information on prices and setting up a trip account, see Mr. Nolan in room 135.

  • The Enrollment for Education Solutions agreement between Microsoft and Duval County Public Schools provides an option for home use software. Students enrolled and attending Duval County Public Schools are granted a single license for home use of both Microsoft Windows Upgrade and Microsoft Office Professional Plus. For a small fee, currently$9.95, all Duval County Public Schools employees are granted a single license for home use of Microsoft Office Professional Plus. Do not install this on any DCPS computer this is for your home computer.  more information

Welcome To Sandalwood

Sandalwood is the largest high school in Duval County. The doors opened in 1971 as a Junior-Senior High School. A few milestones for Sandalwood was that of a National Model School, and more recently, being designated as an "A" school. The faculty and staff are proud of everything Sandalwood stands for and is looking forward to the opportunity to help you become successful students.
