  • Saturday, August 9th at 9am:  We are going to have a 5K run/walk to start off our Saint Strong campaign. There is no cost, just show up to run or walk. All faculty, staff, students or alumni are invited to participate. Show your colors and wear blue and gold.   • Paris-Eiffel Tower This coming spring break Mrs. Taylor will be leading a tour organized through EF Educational Tours to London, Paris, Lucerne, and Munich.   • There will be an Early College Meet and Greet on July 31st, at 6:30 p.m. in the Sandalwood Auditorium.
     
    Early College Set up days are as follows:
    • 8/6 - Class of 2017- 8-11 a.m.
    • 8/7 – Class of 2018 8-11 a.m.
    • 8/7 – Class of 2016  – Orientation at FSCJ- 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Wilson Center, South Campus
    • 8/14 – Sandalwood General Orientation – 2017 at 9 a.m. and 2018 at 10 a.m. in the Auditorium

Welcome To Sandalwood

Sandalwood is the largest high school in Duval County. The doors opened in 1971 as a Junior-Senior High School. A few milestones for Sandalwood was that of a National Model School, and more recently, being designated as an "A" school. The faculty and staff are proud of everything Sandalwood stands for and is looking forward to the opportunity to help you become successful students.

    Set-Up Day:  Includes ID badges, schedules, Gradeportal login, parking decals, off-campus lunch passes, lockers, and textbooks will be issued. Locker rental is $10.00. Textbooks will not be issued until textbook fines have been paid!

    Dates for Set-Up Day are as follows:
     
    • August 4th 8:00-11:00 a.m. 12th grade
    • August 5th 8:00-11:00 a.m. 11th grade
    • August 6th 8:00-11:00 a.m. 10th grade
    • August 7th 8:00-11:00 a.m.  9th grade
     
    August 8th- Make-up day
     

    Orientation-August 14th: 11th and 12th grade orientation 8 a.m. 10th grade orientation 9 a.m., 9th grade orientation 10 a.m. Visit your teachers, pick up supply lists, and update phone/address information.
