  • Saints we are still collecting teddy bears in the front office to send to chemotherapy patients in need of a little comfort through October 24th. The Buddy Bear project was initiated by Jeannie Blaylock of First Coast News and students who donate will be filmed for the news!!!!   • Yearbooks can now be ordered online.  A fee will be applied for purchasing yearbooks on the website. Or students can bring cash or a money order to Ms. Rowett in room #315 for $75, The price goes up after December 1st.

  • Homecoming Week is October 13th-18th. Be sure to review the Events for Homecoming Week, so you know when events are scheduled and what they are. Be sure to review the guidelines for the homecoming dance on Saturday as well. Students may not wear high heels or black soled shoes on the gym floor. They may wear sandals (with no heel) and shoes without black soles.

Welcome To Sandalwood

Sandalwood is the largest high school in Duval County. The doors opened in 1971 as a Junior-Senior High School. A few milestones for Sandalwood was that of a National Model School, and more recently, being designated as an "A" school. The faculty and staff are proud of everything Sandalwood stands for and is looking forward to the opportunity to help you become successful students.

    Congratulations to Mitchell Pendleton who received a $180,000.00 scholarship from the NROTC. He will be able to use these funds to attend the college of his choice.
