  • Spring Fundraiser: Our fundraiser is up and running, brought to you by your PTSA and SAC committee. Your student should have brought home a flyer by now with details.  It was a HOT PINK flyer (see attached - Check-a-thon Flyer). As you know we are blessed to have such a wonderful team at TLAM and this fundraiser is one way to show our support for all their efforts. I know life often gets in the way of being able to volunteer at the school so this is a great way to help out without having to try to fit something else into a tight schedule. Unlike traditional school fundraisers 100% of the proceeds go directly to our school by check or 92% if you give online via Go Fund Me (  Best of all you do not have to buy anything you do not necessarily need simply to be able to donate. Charter Schools require 20-30 hrs. of volunteering and private schools require $1,000’s in tuition so we get a pretty great value here at TLAM as parents. There is a lot of good we can do with this funding so please give as you can. The drive is from now until March 31, 2017.

Teal Nation

Welcome to the Den! Twin Lakes Academy Middle School (TLAM) is home to approximately 1300 students in grades 6-8 from Beach Boulevard to Bartram Springs. The school is centrally located on the Southside of Jacksonville. Its location on Baymeadows Road along Interstate 295N makes it accessible regardless of place of residence. We offer comprehensive and challenging curricula from our most challenging gifted courses to our more supportive intensive courses in reading and math. Students who meet our prerequisite classes have the opportunity to take up to four high school classes (Algebra I, Geometry, Biology and Spanish I) during their time at TLAM. We also have a state of the art STEM lab, 2D and 3D visual arts rooms, a comprehensive band and choral suite and three computer labs. Each academic classroom is equipped with a laptop cart and a large screen digital display screen with a student response system.  In addition, we have a full range of opportunities available in athletics, the arts and a variety of clubs and activities.
