Mandarin Middle's Softball team just completed one of its most successful seasons in school history, going 14-0 and winning the city championship. The team was led by the pitching of Ashley Wiebenga, and Anastasia Suhetskis. Defensively, the team only gave up four runs all season. Offensively, Kayleigh Williams led the way with two home runs. Many of their other hitters hit well over .400 on the season, including Williams, Brianna Arsenault, Wiebenga, Alexis Frazier, Cassie Bailey, Karley Maron, Merissa Cassanova and Eleanor King. Rounding out the team, Emily Hedrick, Sophia Davis, and Montana Hunt played strong contributions in utility roles. Peyton Wolf and Alexis Sears both began the season strong, but were shut down by injury right before the halfway mark.
