Volunteering at Mt. Herman
A new school year has begun and we have many wonderful and exciting events planned throughout the year and we would love for you to be a Mt. Herman volunteer. In order for parents, family members, community members, and business partners to volunteer in a school and on field trips, it is a Duval County Public School policy requirement that ALL volunteers MUST complete an online volunteer application, no exceptions. This is a secure website and the application takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.
To complete the application, please follow these steps:
→ Click on Departments tab
→ Click on Family & Community Engagement
→ Click Volunteer Management (on left)
→ Click Apply to Volunteer (in the middle of page) (Mt. Herman is school number 164. Right now it is listed at the bottom of the drop down menu.)
The application is processed within 5-7 business days and once the application is approved, it is valid for 2 year. If you would like to find out about your volunteer application status, please contact Mt. Herman at 630-6740. Thank you.
