Florida's Differentiated Accountability (DA) plan combines the federal and state accountability systems. DA is designed to help schools increase student achievement and implement successful academic improvements.
Through DA, schools fall into a matrix of three categories based on the school grade. The support and assistance provided to each school by the district and state is individualized depending on the needs of the school. The lowest performing schools receive the most support and are required to implement the most robust interventions.
