LaVilla Students Create Robots using Code
Through robotics, students see how coding and creativity go hand in hand.
Joelle Copeland, an 8th grader, agrees: “I really enjoyed creating my own robot and learning about code. I have even practiced at home with coding and am looking forward to the next workshop. My favorite part of the workshop though was soldering. I’ve never done that before and really enjoyed the experience.”
Joelle along with other techno-savvy students had a great time creating their own Sumo Robots during a Sumo Coding workshop.
Great job, students! Keep Coding and Creating!
