Mrs. Dione Webber is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and product of the Duval County Public System. Mrs. Webber has been an assistant principal at Carter G. Woodson since July 2017. Prior to Woodson, she was a mathematics teacher at William M. Raines High School and an instructional math coach at Bridge to Success Academy at West Jax. She obtained her Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resource Management from the University of Central Florida where she also competed as a Division I track and field athlete. She obtained her master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida. Currently, Mrs. Webber is working on her doctoral dissertation focused on the perspectives of graduates who were overage for grade during their years of schooling.
Mrs. Webber is extremely passionate about critical pedagogy, social justice, and sustaining relationships with students that build character expanding beyond the walls of the school environment. Mrs. Webber is dedicated to being a lifelong learner and advocate for children. She especially has a heart for the students at Carter G.

Dione Webber, Assistant Principal
