Students in HOSA prepare for future in competition

  • Students in HOSA, or Health Occupations Students of America, at Mandarin High School, have put in a lot of work which gave the students an upper hand at a recent competition.  The school brought home 43 medals and was the most awarded school in the competition.

These students are no strangers to hard work.  Most study medical content outside of the classroom, such as sports medicine, forensics, and behavioral health, and even work and research with professional in the medical field to prepare for their success.

Students in the medical program work under the direction of Ms. Dewberry and Ms. Collins.  These instructors not only challenge their students to think outside of the box, but also prepare them for difficult exams - and a successful future in the medical arts.

Well done, Mandarin High School HOSA Students!
