Head Athletic Trainer
Morgan Pavlansky LAT, ATC
I am from the small town of Urbana all the way up in Ohio. I completed my Bachelor's of Science in Athleitc Training at The University of Toledo. During my time at The University of Toledo, I was very involved with organizations such as Relay for Life, RockeTHON (Dance Marathon), Athletic Training Club, Alpha Omicron Pi and The Arthritis Foundation. I am currently at Jacksonville Univseristy studying for my Masters of Science degree in Kinesilogical Sciences.
I have grown up playing sports and was always the athlete that got hurt but was not fortunate enough to have an athletic trainer at my high school, this led me to acquire a passion for athletic training in a way to give back to those kids who missed out on this opprotunity. I have the ability as well as the knowledge to now help high school ahtletes in the same situations I was once in.
From my experience at UT I believe that all high schools should have access to a certified athletic trainer in order to provide appropriate medical services and keep the student athletes safe while competing. I am trained in prevention and recognition of sports-related injuries. I have the knowledge to clinically evaluate and diagnose, provide immediate care of emergent situations; provide treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning after injury; and organize services for sports safety.
When I am not attending practices or games I enjoy my time by soaking up the sun at the beach or pool as well as staying active and adventuring my new home away from home here in Jacksonville. I am always up for a new and exciting adventures or traveling back up to Ohio to see my family and friends, at least when it stops snowing!
