Mrs. Rys is Spring Park Elementary School’s 2019-2020 Teacher of the Year. She graduated from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. This is Mrs. Rys’ fourth year teaching Kindergarten here at Spring Park Elementary. She believes that building relationships with her scholars is an integral part of teaching. Ms. Rys works diligently every day to help all of her scholars learn kindness, to treat others with respect, and to learn appropriate problem solving and social skills alongside academic skills. Her scholars are working on building a strong academic and social foundation that can lead to future educational success.
