  • College Application Bootcamp - Class of 2022

    DA Families of Rising Seniors - Our amazing school counseling department is excited to host their Annual College Application Bootcamp. This is an opportunity for students to get a jump start on the college admission process prior to their senior year.  Students will engage in small group, individual, and large group sessions focused on college applications, personal statement, resume development, career inventory, and scholarships. This 3-day event will be held on June 28th, 29th, and 30th from 9am-2:30pm. Students can register to attend by completing the electronic form found here. This is an opportunity you do not want to miss.

  • Summer PERT Testing Sessions

    Summer PERT Testing for Dual Enrollment Qualification:
    June 23 and 24, 2021 at 9:00 am
    Students MUST pre-register to attend by clicking here.
    Students MUST bring their fully-charged district-issued laptops for testing!

  • Class of 2022 Senior Pictures

    Attention Seniors and Parents:  It is now time to schedule your senior portraits through CADY.  You must have your portrait taken by CADY to be in our yearbook.  Take advantage of the limited time promtion to recieve a free scene during the month of June.  Please go to cady.com/schedule

  • Transportation Request required for all DA students wishing to ride the bus.

    If your child will be riding the bus for the 2021-2022 school year, you will need to register for a bus stop. Once you register, your child will be assigned to a bus stop based on your home address. Bus stop registration will be available in FOCUS beginning June 14.

    Welcome To DA!


    Douglas Anderson School of the Arts is a Duval County Public School for students grades 9 through 12 with a desire for intensive study in the arts.

    Established as an arts school in 1985, the school attracts students from all parts of North Florida and South Georgia who have talent in dance, instrumental or vocal music, performance or technical theatre, film and video production, creative writing, and visual arts.

    A high academic standard, coupled with a broad arts curriculum, offers students an opportunity to excel in a chosen discipline while preparing them for post-secondary education.
