ESOL and Languages
The following grants provide funding for language and English as a Second Language (ESOL) programs. Do you know of an ESOL grant that isn't listed here? Send it to the Grants Office to include on the list.
National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI): This is a scholarship that provides study abroad opportunities for high school students interested in target languages. Find other foreign language scholarships here.
United States-Japan Foundation - Pre-College Education Program: The foundation focuses on K-12 education by supporting teacher professional development, projects that work directly with students, and programs that develop curriculum materials on America or Japan for educational audiences in the other country. The Foundation also supports projects that connect schools and classrooms in the US and Japan, and that develop and improve instruction in Japanese language.
