• Cheerleading is year round at duPont Middle. While this is considered a club, cheerleaders are required to complete the athletic paperwork packet located at this link: ATHLETIC PAPERWORK PACKET. Tryouts may be held at the beginning of the school year or at the end of the school year for the next year. We encourage participation and school pride. Every year, general information and fees associated with cheerleading may change. It will be expected that cheerleaders cover the cost of cheer shoes, bloomers, practice clothes, hair bow, poms and a uniform. Depending on fundraising efforts, cheerleaders may not have to purchase a uniform.
