2020 College Week!!! AVID Students learn about different colleges and careers!
AVID Career Days, March 4-5 2020, enlighten students about different future career opportunities. The Drone and K-9 Units within Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and the Youth Explorers Program came out to talk to our students.
Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department showed up equipped with information that intrigued the minds our 6th Graders.
Richard Leon with the Urban Forest Division/ City of Jacksonville had our students mesmerized and thinking about some new exciting career options!
The Financial Literacy segment by Twyla Prindle-Ivey and the Technical Industry Relation session with Mr. Jake Rodenroth were both the diversity that many of our students needed but the "kicker" of the day was the Jeremy Moore from Karate America!
Landmark Middle School's AVID program is in the business of helping others in and around the community by aiding families who need a little help over the long winter break with their 3rd Annual Holiday Hope, food drive.
