We offer an opportunity for our high school students to be a part of our sports medicine team. Students who are interested in the sports medicine field can work with and observe our certified athletic trainer during sporting events. Students who participate will receive approved volunteer hours that can be used when applying for colleges and scholarships.

Student aides will perform the following duties:

• Help set up/break down hydration stations for sporting events.
• Maintain cleanliness of the athletic training room.
• Assist the certified athletic trainer with basic first aid during sporting events.

Students who participate will get to experience, firsthand, working directly with athletes and the care of sports-related injuries. Student aides are expected to maintain professionalism and positive work ethic. Students who are interested must complete and submit an application to the certified athletic trainer.
