The US Department of Education, through the Florida Department of Education, provides funding to communities through 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC).

The 21^st CCLC Program is an afterschool program offered at select schools in Duval County. Each 21^st CCLC Program is a combination of academic assistance and remediation and recreation and enrichment activities for students and their families. Additionally, the nutritional needs of students are addressed through snacks and a light dinner each day. The 21^st CCLC afterschool program is free of charge for participating students.
