Open Teacher Interviews
Duval County Public Schools hosts open teacher interviews with district recruiters. Teacher candidates who have eligibility and or current certification in the areas below are eligible to be interviewed.
Open Interview Content Areas
Elementary (PreK-3 or K-6)
Science (5-9 or 6-12)
ELA (5-9 or 6-12)
Math (5-9 or 6-12)
World Language (Spanish)
Exceptional Student Education (All Exceptionalities) – Candidates MUST have ESE K-12 plus an additional certification, endorsement or eligibility such as Autism, American Sign Language, Prekindergarten Disabilities, Gifted, Reading, K-6, Math, Science, and or English
Candidates with Business Education and Social Science are recommended to obtain certification in the content areas above as vacancies in these areas do not exist. To learn more about these content areas and register for an exam, click the following link: FLDOE Certification
Interviews are conducted via the district's video conference tool. Candidates may submit a request for a video interview at the following email address - email@example.com. Candidates must provide a resume and eligibility documentation before an interview will be scheduled.
- Statement of Eligibility issued by the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) and/or a copy of your current teaching certificate.
- Degree Conferred Transcripts (strongly recommended and can be unofficial)
