    This session will provide an overview and technical assistance of the Title I, Part A project including best practices with a focus on the following topics:  

    • Eligibility requirements for the Title I, Part A grant project 
    • Budgeting for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year 
    • Compliance and Monitoring  
    • Successful implementation of Parent and Family Engagement 
    • Tips for fully expending funds 

    Number of PD Points   

     6 points for participation in the session and completion of follow up items

    Course Title   

    Title I, Part A project implementation
    Successfully using the DCPS Title I Digital Compliance System                                                                                                                 
     

    Description of Course   

    This session will provide an in-depth overview of the Digital Compliance System including navigation, compliance item details, and document upload.  At the end of the session, participants will understand how to fully use the Title I Digital Compliance system to fulfill the requirements of the grant project.  

    Number of PD Points   

    4 points for participation in the session and completion of follow up activity

     Title I Designees in schools implementing Title I, Part A

     All registrants should plan to attend the virtual session with a dual monitor and be able to access the Title I Digital Compliance System.  If access is needed, please call the Title I department at (904)390-2123.

    Course Title   

    Title I, Part A Year End Technical Assistance (Fiscal) 

    Description of Course   

    This course is targeted for School Bookkeepers and Secretaries who complete SAP functions for Title I, Part A.  The course will cover preparing for the close of out the year including fiscal topics and strategies to ensure each school fully spends funds and have its documentation “audit ready” in SAP.   

    Topics will include: 

    • Review of the Year at a Glance and what is currently due 
    • Importance of timely spending and subsequent closing out of the fiscal year 
    • Actions that should be taken when notifications are received pertaining to open Purchase Requisitions and open Purchase Orders 

    When registering for a session, please include any additional topics you would like covered.
