    Title I, Part A Training and Consultation

    • Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
    • This session will cover the development of the Parent and Family Engagement Plan and Title I Schoolwide Plan and corresponding budgets.

    Title I, Part A

    1. Title I, Part A schoolwide narrative template - remember your SIP or Title I Schoolwide Plan is the narrative
    2. Parent and Family Engagement Plan Template
    3. Parent and Family Engagement Budget Template
    4. All three above are needed for a compelte plan if the school is eligible.  The deadline for completion for participation in th 2021-2022 school year is April 9, 2021.
    5. Schools expecting significant expansion are required to let the district know by March 1, 2021
    6. If your school is NOT participating in the National School Lunch Program, the method of determining student eligiblity must be submitted and reviewed.  Income levels for parents are the ones from the Department of Agriculture.
      Schools will be notified about eligiblity based on date certain data (February 12, 2021)
    7. K-12 Elementary and Secondary Education Act Common Federal Program Guidance - the guidelines in the document are applicable

    1. Date Certain:  Friday, February 12, 2021 - ensure school information is accurately reflected in Focus
    2. Intent to Participate Form Due:  February 19, 2021
    3. Title II, Part A:  School Level Plan Template  Due Date: April 1, 2021 with all quotes and specifics for participation.
