•      Rutledge H. Peterson Elementary School, located at 4346 Roanoke Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32208, sets to teach young students around the northwest area of Jacksonville. As of now, it is to undergo expansion in its school grounds, said to be finished sometime around August of 2023. The school's mascot is the prideful tiger, dedicated to representing a symbol of the school's "P.R.I.D.E." (Perseverance, Resilience, Integrity, Determination, Excellence). The school is currently guided by the works of DCPS Principal of the Year (as of the 2021-2022 school year) Ms. Carolyn Davis, who has proven her excellence in making the school an A-rank school, and continues to improve the school day by day.
         Rutledge H. Peterson Elementary School got its name from civil rights activist, educator, and baseball player Rutledge H.
