Mr. Dieye, Assistant Principal

Mr. Dieye is the Assistant Principal at Wolfson School for Advanced Studies (SAS), where he shares his passion in education and finance acquired over the past 15 years.
After 6 years in banking, and community activism, he joined Duval County Public Schools in 2008 as a high school mathematics instructor at Paxon School for Advanced Studies. During his time at Paxon SAS, he led the math department to a 90-95% pass rate for six consecutive years on the state standard exam. In 2009, he joined Florida State College as an adjunct professor in Adult Education and Mathematics. In 2016, he led the Early College Program, a Florida State College Partnership with Duval County Public Schools, for Ribault High School. He was named Teacher of the Year and Florida Blue Spotlight Duval County Teacher of the Year, in 2020. He has also been the Site Director of the 5000 Role Models of Excellence, National Honor Society, a board member of Literacy Pros and a community partner with the City of Jacksonville and Kid Hope Alliance.
Mr. Dieye's vision and purpose are to help support the Wolfson SAS family and every Wolfson SAS student to achieve the highest level of education to compete and win in our society. He also wants to give support to parents, teachers, staff members and stakeholders while forming an alliance to better improve the community in every way possible.
Mr. Dieye sees education as the gateway for logical prosperity for all people. He enjoys providing students with the opportunity to believe in themselves and overcome some of life’s obstacles. He believes students can achieve anything through dedication and hard work and that the reward is on the other side of hard work.He earned his bachelor’s degree from Bethune-Cookman University in business administration concentration of accounting and earned his master’s degree from the University of London in finance and banking. He serves as a member of the Cognia AdvancED Accreditation Board.
