• All students will receive a laptop from JWJ at no cost.

The expectation is that students take care of their device, and they bring it to school fully charged daily.

The Math curriculum is 100% digital, so students will need to have their computer in order to complete their lessons/assignments. State testing, as well as District EOCs, are all done on the computer, too.

All reports about lost or stolen laptops must be made to Dean Washington in the 8th grade building during 1st/5th period.

    Lost Laptops-

    • Lost property must be reported immediately. Once an additional laptop becomes available, a new one will be issued to your student and the price of the laptop will be added to their student account.

    Stolen Laptops-

    • If the laptop was stolen off campus (from home, vehicle, etc), it must be reported immediately. Stolen laptops cannot be replaced without a police report for theft. Once an additional laptop becomes available, a new one will be issued to your student. Any item missing on campus is considered lost, please see above.

    Damaged Laptops-

    • Any laptops experiencing damage or technology issues should be brought to Dean Washingon during the 1st/5th period block only. Broken laptops will be sent for repair and students are issued a temporary “loaner” laptop, if available. These are older models and may run at a slower pace.
