    "Setting The Stage for Success" 

    Cathedral Arts Project’s mission is to enrich the quality of life in Northeast Florida through unleashing the creative spirit of young people. By providing access to instruction in the visual and performing arts, we empower underserved, school-aged children to succeed in all areas of their lives.

    The Cathedral Arts Project program serves 2,145 students two afternoons each week during the school year and summer, providing quality, standards-based instruction in dance, music, theater and visual arts at no charge to our students.           
       
     
     
     Mayport Elementary Coastal Sciences Academy is proud to partner with the Cathedral Arts Project, offering after school Visual Arts enrichment opportunities to students two afternoons per week. Throughout the school year students are engulfed in art experiences that will change their lives. More that that, they are learning the skills they need to succeed in all areas of life - skills such as self-discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and imagination. The Cathedral Arts Project impacts the whole child! 
     
    Throughout the year students will have exposure to different art experiences, such as painting, sculpture,
    design, role playing, family gatherings, new friendships and a "not to be missed"  Showcase of the Arts.
