Dear Families of Atlantic Coast,

As we enter a new and exciting school year, I wanted to make you aware of resources and opportunities as it relates to books/media materials and requests for paper communication.

• Limit Access to Books and Media Materials: If you would like to limit access to types of books you wish for your child to read you must submit the DCPS Book and Media Materials Access form located in the Focus Parent Portal. Instructions to access your parent portal are attached. I strongly encourage you to complete this process through your Focus portal as this will be the means for which we will store your information. However, if you are experiencing technical issues, please contact the Main Office and you will be provided with a hard copy.
• Request for Paper Communication: Parents/Guardians of Duval County Public School students are eligible to request paper communications regarding report cards, progress reports, and scholarship warnings. Along with electronic copies that will be sent out, by completing the Request for Paper Communication form, you will also receive a paper copy. This form can be found in your Focus Parent Portal and is also attached.
