AP Honors Program
The Atlantic Coast High School AP Honors Academy is a rigorous 4-year academic program in which all of the Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, and Mathematics courses are either Honors or Advanced Placement. The comprehensive curriculum of the program is designed to equip students with the skills and attitudes necessary for success in higher education and beyond. Students enrolled in this program will be required to complete a minimum of nine (9) AP courses before graduation.
This program requires a high level of motivation, focus, enthusiasm and determination for success. Those who meet the requirements of this program are awarded a special seal on their high school diploma. Through participation in the AP Honors Program at Atlantic Coast students will learn to become knowledgeable citizens who can write well, think critically, articulate their thoughts, and manage their time and responsibilities well. These are skills that will remain with them long after the AP experience is over.
