    Graduation Requirements:
    Two (2) high school credits taken in middle or high school including two (2) courses in the same language.
     
    *Students who have been required to take three (3) years of Intensive Reading in high school may be exempt from this requirement through a waiver process.
     
    ## American Science Language (ASL) may be used to meet the foreign language requirement.Post-secondary institutions outside Florida may not accept ASL as a foreign language credit.

    World Language Requirements: public community college or university in the state of Florida. ASL is also recognized for eligibility in the Florida Bright Futures Scholarships program. ASL is also accepted at most out-of-state public colleges and universities. However, if your child plans to attend a private institution in Florida or is planning to attend college out-of-state, you should contact those schools directly.
