Parents may enroll their age three (3) or age four (4) child in a standards-based, developmentally appropriate school year program or the Summer Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program for children entering kindergarten in the fall.

    DCPS VPK Fall Brick and Mortar (Face-to-Face) Registration (age 4)- 2020-2021 School Year Only

    Your child must be 4 on or before September 1, 2020, to enroll in the Fall VPK program. Students and teachers will be provided appropriately sized face shields for use in classrooms.  Please click the link for details on how to register your child for face-to-face VPK.  Click here for details.


    DCPS VPK Virtual Option (age 4)- 2020 School Year Only

    Duval VPK Virtual Option will begin on Monday, August 24, 2020, and conclude on Thursday, December 17, 2020.  The classes will be offered from either 8:30 am – 11:30 am or 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm for 220 instructional hours. Seats are limited. Students will be assigned to a morning or afternoon class on a first-come-first-served basis. Parents are required to provide technology, internet access and must be available to assist with technology navigation during class.  Once Duval VPK Virtual concludes in December, students will return to their currently enrolled brick and mortar school. Students who withdrew from the brick and mortar setting prior to August 20th can re-enroll in a brick and mortar class based upon availability. Click here for details.


    DCPS Head Start Program (ages 3 & 4)
