• What is the Kernan Middle School National Junior Honor Society?

Students are selected to be members of the NJHS. Members are expected to participate in chapter meetings and projects.  NJHS is a student-run organization.  Officers will be elected by the members.  All members are expected to help with the projects sponsored by the organization.

The Kernan  Middle School National Junior Honor Society is a service organization for outstanding students.  The KMS NJHS represents the school as guides and ambassadors. We also conduct Canned Food Drives for the Food Bank.  We hold a Pet Food/Supply Drive to benefit the local humane societies and pet rescue groups.  In addition, NJHS takes an active role in teacher appreciation week.
