Congratulations! You have been offered a job as an administrator. There are several steps that will take place to officially make you a part of the DCPS team.

  • Step 1 – Background Screening

    • You must be fingerprinted by our DCPS Background Screening Office and cleared prior to your hire. Refer to your set-up forms for information regarding fingerprint payment.

    • A member of the staffing team will contact you to schedule your fingerprint appointment.

  • Step 2 – New Hire Processing Appointment

    • Your employment set-up paperwork must be completed prior to your appointment and will be sent to you by the staffing team.

    • Review the documentation requirements for your set-up appointment carefully. Please print the entire set-up packet, complete the forms thoroughly, and bring them with you to your appointment.

  • Step 3 – Benefits Information

    • Prior to your appointment you should review the benefits package offered through the district.

  • Step 4 – At Your Appointment

    • You will turn in your completed employment paperwork and required documents.

    • You will receive a DCPS photo ID.

    • You will select your health care providers and review additional benefits.
