NEW TEACHER ORIENTATIONWhether you are new to teaching in general or just new to Duval County, come out and learn what it takes to have a successful year at our New Teacher Orientation. During this 2 day workshop, you will participate in whole group and breakout sessions designed to provide an overview of all the information necessary to not only survive, but to thrive in your first year of teaching in Duval County. From learning about Duval’s systems of support to all the various academic resources available. Teachers will be compensated for their time and breakfast and snacks are provided both days.
