The Teen Safe Driving Program
The Teen Safe Driving Program provides a safe environment for the students of Duval County Public Schools to gain experience in driving and understanding the strategies necessary in today’s motorized society. The purpose of this course is to instruct students in the proper techniques and skill related knowledge with an in-depth study of the scope and nature of accident problems and their solutions. All of the core presentations will be around distracted driving and preventative measures to take when driving. The Teen Safe Driving Program will be for current DCPS students age 15 to 18. Students will have the opportunity to earn a learner’s license while in the program as well as have the opportunity to take the skills test for their operator’s license.
