    PHILOSOPHY
We believe that learning is a life-long process of growth and development.  The process includes both physical and mental activities.  As such, we believe that school should provide a variety of experiences aimed to develop responsible, intelligent, self-directed cadets who can function as effective citizens.  In life, our cadets will be required to both lead by example and follow with integrity. In concentrating on military leadership strategies, we believe that each cadet will understand what it takes to be an effective leader and team member.  Ultimately, we believe if we promote learning in all areas, our cadets will have the foundation for future success and be able to participate fully in life’s great adventure!
    MISSION
To provide an environment that promotes academic excellence, inspires leadership, and strengthens physical, mental, social and emotional well-being.
    VISION
Our vision is for Edward H. White High School students to be prepared for success as a well-rounded leaders through rigorous instruction, enrichment activities, respectful interaction, effective discipline and community service.

Mrs. Traci Battest - Principal

On June 3, 1965, Edward H. White II became the first American to step outside his spacecraft and let go, effectively setting himself adrift in the zero gravity of space. It is with that same pioneering spirit, that we will embark on a new path for Edward H. White High School each year.  I am honored to lead the school in it's new direction as a high school that has programs to develop the whole child, academically and socially.

2018 - 2019 experienced its first succesful year of Early College.  Students have the option to earn an AA degree through Florida State College of Jacksonville.

All current programs including Dual Enrollment, Information Technology, and NJROTC will remain at the school. In addition to the core curriculum of Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts, students will have elective choices such as Art, Music, and Foreign Language.

It is an exciting time to be a Commander, and I am eager to share the growing opportunities for the students, parents/guardians, and community of Edward H. White High School.
