Mr. Michael Townsend, Assistant Principal of Curriculum

I'm excited to join the Twin Lakes team for the 1819 school year! My hope is that my track record of moving students from various backgrounds to both academic proficiency and growth will help us achieve our school improvement goals. As a classroom teacher, I typically had top results in my content in the district. As an instructional coach and Assistant Principal, I've been privileged to lead departments that culminated in top results not just for the district but for the State of Florida. I believe in building and forging positive relationships with all stakeholders.  Ultimately, I hope that my understanding of how students need to be prepared for high school and college will be a strong asset to Twin Lakes Academy Middle School.
