It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed Principal of Twin Lakes Academy Middle School. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such a rich tradition of education. I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than twelve years. I have worked with a variety of students' ranging in age from Kindergarten through middle school. My most recent administrative experience was at Alfred I. duPont Middle School where I served as the Assistant Principal of Curriculum. I am excited and eager to bring my skills as an instructional leader to Twin Lakes Academy Middle School and work with you as a partner in education to ensure the success of all children.

Mrs. Sharonette Shaw, Assistant Principal of Curriculum
Mrs. Shaw has worked with Duval County Public Schools for over 20 years, as an ESE and Math teacher, serving both Middle and High school students. She is excited to begin her 4th year at Twin Lakes Academy Middle. She lives by the motto: “I believe that all children have the right to an education. I am committed to providing them a safe, structured, highly-engaged learning environment in which ALL students will pursue that right” and Ascend to GreAtness.

Mr. D. Brady Copeland, Assistant Principal of Student Services
Mr. Copeland, a Jacksonville native, began serving Duval County Public School students in 2011 where he taught reading to at-risk high school students who struggled academically. From there he served as a Dean of Students at the Bridge to Success, Magnet Coordinator at Ed White High School, Dean of Students at Atlantic Coast High School, and now proudly supports Twin Lakes Academy Middle as the Assistant Principal of Students Services.
