    Welcome to the “2021-2022” school year! I hope you and your family are staying safe during these unprecedented times. As always, we will continue to be resilient, optimistic, and proactive in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for everyone. This year, our theme is “Building a Foundation for Success-Literacy, Enrichment, Growth, Opportunity, and Success”.

    The school hours are Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Breakfast will be served daily starting at 8:15 a.m. If students are not in Extended Day, they can be dropped off in the following locations starting at 8:15 a.m.:

    • All VPK/HS-Cafeteria.

    • All Car Riders (K through 2nd Grades)-Auditorium.

    •  All Walkers-Main Entry Door

    If your child is riding the bus, please remember to register online. The online registration process is required prior to students riding the bus.

    This school year, all car riders and walkers will receive 2 safety decals. During dismissal, safety decals are required to pick up students from areas designated for car riders or walkers. All VPK/Head Start students are dismissed at 3:00 p.m. and all Kindergarten through 2nd Grade Students are dismissed at 3:10 p.m.

    Each Cougar Scholar attending Smart Pope Livingston Elementary School is required to wear a uniform every day. Please see the attached document for additional information regarding uniforms. We have the following daily academic/enrichment programs: Extended Day & Boys and Girls Club of Northeast FL. The Extended Day program starts Tuesday, August 10th . The Boys and Girls Club starts Monday, August 16th .

    As we take steps towards excellence, courage, and optimism, I invite all parents/guardians to partner with the faculty/staff by joining PTA ($7.00), attending monthly SAC, PTA, and FamilyNight Workshops.
