Meet our Principal, Mr. Darrell Edmunds
Greetings from Hendricks Avenue Elementary!
It is truly an honor to serve as Principal this 2021-22 school year, as we celebrate our realization of Leader in Me Lighthouse School status and continue to empower our students on their paths of compassion, creativity and curiosity, as is our mission.
Our school theme for this year is “HAE Leaders Shine Bright”, and I couldn’t imagine a better way to spotlight our students’ brilliance – not just in academic achievement but in service to others as exemplary citizens of our community -- while they develop the necessary skills for success in the 21st century.
Hendricks Avenue Elementary is a Florida School of Excellence, a National Model School, and now one of only a few hundred schools in the country to achieve “Lighthouse” status as a FranklinCovey Leader in Me School. Our journey to be the best Eagles we can be continues in 2021-22 ... to soar in partnership between our students, their families, and a faculty/staff here at HAE which is second-to-none at any school – public, private or charter.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me, our wonderful Assistant Principal Ms. Jessica Daniel, or our front office staff for any information or support.
Thank you for the opportunity to work with your amazing student – and welcome to HAE!
