Professional Bio of Mr. Kendall Parris
-
After working many years in the private sector, I made the decision to become a teacher and serve the parents and students of Duval County Public Schools in 2009. I taught 5th grade Math and Science at Ramona Boulevard Elementary for five years before moving to Woodland Acres Elementary as the Instructional Math Coach. After two years of coaching teachers, I became the Assistant Principal at Love Grove Elementary and became an official Manatee. After serving as Assistant Principal at Love Grove Elementary, RL Brown Elementary, and Annie R Morgan Elementary, I was fortunate enough to be able to return to Love Grove to serve as your Principal.
I hold a Master of Education degree from The American College of Education in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Florida. I also hold professional educator certifications in Principalship (All Levels), Educational Leadership (All Levels), and Elementary Education (K-6).
I strongly believe that in order to nurture students to become successful and productive citizens, you must create a safe, inclusive, and collaborative school culture. This includes supporting our teachers and staff and building positive relationships with our students, families, and stakeholders to create a fully engaged school community.
I am very proud to be a partner in your child’s education and invite you to please contact me anytime if you would like to discuss any ways we can improve your experience at Love Grove Elementary.
