Welcome to Ortega Elementary!  Our 2019-2020 school theme is Learning is Our Superpower.  Our goal is to create an environment where every adult and child will develop a growth mindset.  We will focus on perseverance, challenging ourselves, and learning from our mistakes.

Ortega is a Museum Magnet School which means that we partner with area museums to provide hands-on, minds-on learning experience for every child. Our students examine their world, explore their strengths, and exhibit their knowledge.  Twice each year our students transform the school into a living museum.  Each grade level works together to create an amazing exhibit for families and community members to enjoy.
