Marissa Pinter, Assistant Principal

I am very excited to be a part of the San Mateo family!  My educational background includes being a teacher in Duval County in both primary and intermediate classrooms for 15 years; 5 of those years were here at San Mateo teaching second and third grades!  I then became a school-based mathematics coach for 5 years. I am currently in my fourth year as an elementary Assistant Principal. 
I am blessed and honored to be among teachers and staff that are committed to providing rigorous and enriching academics in a safe and nurturing learning environment.  I believe it is with a focus on instructional excellence and building relationships that ensures each child’s success.  
I look forward to partnering together with this community of teachers, staff, parents, guardians, and students of San Mateo Elementary!
