School Advisory Council (SAC)
Florida State Statutes require that each school establish a School Advisory Council (SAC). Each advisory council shall be composed of the principal and an appropriately balanced number of teachers, education support employees, students, parents, and other business and community citizens who are representative of the ethnic, racial, and economic community served by the school.The responsibility of the SAC is to provide parents, citizens, faculty and staff with an opportunity to participate in the development of educational priorities, assessment of a school's needs, and identification of local resources.The major functions of SAC are:1. To assist in the preparation and evaluation of the School Improvement Plan, and2. To assist in the preparation of the school budget.SAC meeting dates (the 3rd Monday of the month) for the 2021-2022 school year are below. All SAC meetings are at 4:30 p.m.- August 23
