    I started my career in education more than 37 years ago at Mamie Agnes Jones Elementary School in Baldwin, and now I will conclude my career as the superintendent of Duval County Public Schools, the 20th-largest school district in the nation.

    Dr. Dana Kriznar named as superintendent for interim period

    Dr. Dana Kriznar, a former principal who led two different Duval schools from a “C” to an “A” grade, has been named as the next superintendent for Duval County Public Schools. Dr. Kriznar will serve in the superintendent’s role for an interim period not to exceed six months. During this time, the Duval County School Board will conduct a national search for the next successor to current superintendent Dr. Diana Greene.
