Duval Ready Diploma Designation
-
Students who earn this diploma seal are “Ready to Work”
Duval County recognizes the importance of preparing all students for life after graduation, and that includes focusing on direct instruction of professional skills. The Duval Ready Diploma designation is a diploma seal that students can earn, symbolizing that they have training in skills such as professionalism, communication, teamwork, and problem solving using the Florida Ready to Work (FRTW) curriculum. Students demonstrate mastery through a capstone project in their senior year, putting their skills to the test and making learning authentic!
Students complete the Florida Ready to Work Curriculum, have earned the soft skills credential recognized by the state of Florida and have demonstrated these mastered skills in a capstone project.
