    Ms. Nicole Frick

    Ms. Nicole Frick began her professional journey as an Athletic Trainer at Atlantic Coast High School over a decade ago. After six years in that role, Ms. Frick felt a calling to make an even greater impact on students' lives and transitioned into education. In 2016, she received her first teaching assignment in Environmental Science. After two years, she shifted to teaching Biology, a subject she has been passionate about for over five years.

    Throughout their teaching career, Ms. Frick has been dedicated to fostering a supportive learning environment, leading to a remarkable 95% pass rate in both Standard and Honors Biology classes. In recognition of her commitment and expertise, Ms. Frick took on the role of Science Department Coordinator and Biology PLC lead three years ago, guiding their team to achieve the highest pass rate among all comprehensive high schools in the district. Additionally, Ms. Frick mentors future educators as a clinical educator with UNF's Bachelor of Education program, finding fulfillment in helping the next generation of teachers thrive in today's challenging educational landscape.

    Her passion for teaching is driven by the joy of witnessing students' "aha" moments when they grasp challenging concepts and realize their potential. This commitment to student success and continuous personal growth defines Ms. Frick's approach to education.
