• Please review the following arrival procedures carefully to avoid confusion and delays in getting your child’s day off to a great start!
     
    ARRIVAL PROCEDURE

    1. Car rider arrival for all PK-5 students begins at 8:00 a.m. each day (Extended Day Program begins at 6:45 a.m. – Registration Packets are available in the Front Office).
     
    2. Car riders will be dropped off in the front driveway (the driveway by the front office on Shangri-La Dr.) and a staff member will open the double-glass doors and greet them. Parents of our CSS students are asked to pull up to the double wooden doors outside of the auditorium where their child will be greeted and escorted to class by CSS staff.
     
    3. Car rider parents who wish to accompany their child to class, to breakfast, a parent-teacher conference or any other official school business beyond the front office are expected to park in the front parking lot, enter at the front double-glass doors, and stop at the security station to get a Security Badge using an official form of identification (ex. driver’s license, military ID).
     
    4. Walkers can arrive beginning at 8:00 a.m. Please be sure you assist your child in timing his/her departure from your house so that he/she arrives at school between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Walkers are expected to enter at the front of the school. A supervisor will meet and greet them at the double glass doors.
     
    5. Bike riders can arrive on campus beginning at 8:00 a.m. Bike riders are expected to park their bikes at the bike rack on the south side of the school and enter at the front of the school. A supervisor will meet and greet them at the double glass doors.
     
    6. Walker/Bike rider parents who wish to accompany their child to class, to breakfast, a parentteacher conference or any other official school business beyond the front office are expected to park in the front parking lot, enter at the front double-glass doors, and stop at the security station to get a Security Badge using an official form of identification (ex. driver’s license, military ID).
     
    7. Bus riders will arrive on campus between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Our bus coordinator and staff will greet students on the west side of campus in our Bus Loop.
     
    8. All PK-2nd grade students arriving between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. will wait in the Auditorium (PK in hall directly outside of auditorium) in our main building in designated areas.
    Breakfast will be served in the classroom FREE for all children in PK-2nd grade from 8:30 a.m.-8:45 a.m. Breakfast in the Classroom is a service that has been made available through federal grants.
     
    9. All 3rd -5th grade students arriving between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. will report directly to the Café and will have the option of eating breakfast.
    Breakfast will be served in the café FREE for all children in 3rd -5th grades from 8:00 a.m.-8:30 a.m. This component of Breakfast in the Classroom is a service that has been made available through federal grants.
     
    10. TARDY BELL will ring at 8:35 a.m. All students arriving in their classroom after the 8:35 a.m. tardy bell will be marked tardy.
     
    Please make every effort to avoid having your child arrive late to school. Your child will be missing important lessons and can quickly fall behind. We will be working hard behind the scenes and in the front driveway to make this a safe and pleasant experience.
