  • Dear A. Philip Randolph College and Career Academy Community,

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year at A. Philip Randolph College and Career Academy! We are very excited as we head into a new school year. The last two years were different from any school year any of us have ever experienced. We are excited to return to a normal school year. The safety and health of our students is still our number one priority and we will continue to work with local, state and federal agencies to ensure we are doing everything we can for our students, faculty, and staff.

Our theme this school year is "Building Our Tomorrow". This revolves around the idea that the foundation of building the future starts with the knowledge needed to succeed. A. Philip Randolph is an unique high school with the capabilities of providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary to being successful in college and/or in a career directly after graduating high school.

As we head into next year we will continue to work to expand learning opportunities for our students in many different ways: work experiences, CTE classes, career exposure, career mentorship, leadership development, college prep, dual enrollment college classes through Edward Waters University, career internships, and many other individualized student opportunities. In all of our class offerings from ninth through twelfth grade we will continue to work to give students rigorous and relevant learning opportunities in every classroom, every day! We want all of our students to have choices in what they learn and by doing so, our students at A. Philip Randolph will have several opportunities to achieve their dreams post high school. Whatever their goals are beyond high school, we want to give them as many opportunities as possible!

Please continue to review the website to learn about many opportunities and information to ensure you are preparing for the upcoming school year. We can't wait to meet all the new students and see the returning students again. If you have any questions/concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to the school via email or phone.
