Nominated by her peers and selected as Teacher of the Year for her dedication to student success, Mrs. Anderson brings 6 years of math teaching experience to JWJ. Her lessons of pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry have prepared Trojans for all levels of math in high schools throughout Duval County. This is Mrs. Anderson's second year in a leadership role as the Math Specialist, extending her aide to teachers within the math department. There is no student within the walls of our school who have not benefited from her commitment to making math lessons accessible and student-driven. In addition to working with the math teachers, she guides those new to teaching and to JWJ as the Professional Development Facilitator. Mrs. Anderson was also the Head Track Coach for the 2021 and 2022 seasons and one of the Cheerleading coaches for the 2021-2022 season. 

Mrs. Anderson was previously Teacher of the Year 2018-2019 at Northwestern Middle School.
